The RM 030's case houses an automatic caliber with a rotor that declutches automatically. The winding barrel is automatically disconnected from the rotor's winding mechanism when the spring is fully wound in this system. This mechanism is also linked to the power reserve indicator for optimal winding control. This enables both the movement and the oscillator to provide the best chronometric performance by utilizing the best constant torque/power ratio.
