Tetragonal Zirconia Polycrystal is both hard and fracture resistant. and it has a very fine grain. allowing for fine finishing. The case is scratch-resistant without being brittle. Blasting the watch produces the matte finish. The tri-part case's center case band is made of NTPT® (North Thin Ply Technology) carbon. NTPT carbon is used in aerospace technology. racing sail manufacturing. and Formula 1 race car design. The material is extremely strong and light. and it is composed of multiple layers of parallel filaments formed by severing carbon fibers. The thin layers are then laced with resin and woven on a special machine to create a unique visual effect.
